some of you should have noticed by now that my current Adidas Bounce is in a very sad state i.e. there're holes everywhere and the Adidas logo at the back of the shoe disappeared! ):
this pair of shoes has been with me since Sec3 leh.
it has went through numerous 2.4km runs with me,cross-country races,trainings............
lol okay whatever.
the bottomline: i need a new pair of shoes hehe.

though we lost the match to Dunman High today,i felt that it was a great game played since everyone has given their all for this A division competition,especially the J2s! (:
had some camwhoring session after the match and a few of us went crazy cause we tried to dump Qian Mei into the rubbish bin.
hahahahaha!
went back to school,played that usual basketball game again and I WON FOR ONCE YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY :D:D:D and afterwhich the team went to Lot 1 to have our dinner! (:
we ate,talked,gossiped,laughed (really loudly),imitated Magnus....
and after that we went to take a huge amount of photos again lol.

hello everyone.

right,RJC thrashed us in the game,badly.
i shan't mention the score here cause it's kinda disheartening.
their players are tall and big and super fast.
once they got hold of the ball,off they go for a fast break and tadah,two points owned.
now all we hope is to win the match against YJC tmr!

life feels pretty mundane these days.
plus the weather is so freaking hot every single day,no doubt it adds on to the frustration.

i'm currently printing the chem notes from the portal which consist of 30 pages and printing them double-sided and since my printer is quite lau-ya,i have to flip the paper manually each time to get the page printed on double-sided.
and also i'm helping sylviaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa to print as well so it's taking me forever to print everything zzz.i'm only at page 8 out of 30.

i feel like an old lady having rheumatism now though i don't know how it really feels like to have that ailment but i know that my joints on my right leg are aching real badly. ):
or in fact,both my legs are aching real badly.
when i stand up and walk after sitting,it feels like i'm gonna fall any moment.
i hope that this arises due to the consecutive days of running and half-squattings and not because of anything else...........................................................

today's the first day of the March holidays and i'm stucked at home,sadly.

i hope i can spend some time later finishing my homework and revise for the upcoming tests after the holidays!

anyway,yesterday was quite a lucky day because i spent only $1 at those grab-a-toy machines aka 'zhua zhua le' and got a penguin soft toy upon my first try!!!!the penguin is a little huge,and it's definitely worth more than a buck.i still find it unbelievable at this point of time.

i love the weather now!it has been raining since hours ago and it's so nice and cosy to be at home.but the bad thing is that i can't just simply relax and enjoy this wonderful weather,because i have tons of homework to finish.

time flies,it has already been a month since i've entered PJC.no wonder teachers and friends have been telling me that life in JC is gonna zip by very fast.

i guess they said this because lessons always end only in the late afternoon,and we have to spend almost hours to finish our tutorials once we reached home.this routine will carry on for the next 20 months or so i guess?

sometimes i regret a little to come to a JC instead of Poly,for the fact that i fear for my Promos,and eventually A levels.H2 History is really sfjojfjofsd,i find myself having difficulties in understanding the concepts and it really makes me feel demoralized.
there were also times when i wake up in the morning,i dread the feeling of having to go to school.

but nevertheless,i've made this decision myself and i should be responsible for it!i really hope all the "school-blues" will get away from me soon.arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

anyway,my family was actually planning a trip to Taiwan during the June holidays as the airline tickets are selling at a really low cost but sadly the tickets were sold out when we wanted to book them. ): i hope more of these great offers will come again hehehe.

caught this movie yesterday at the Picture House,and it was really funny lollll.really worth the money so go catch it!!!!

i'm quite frustrated now cause i can't solve two questions in the Math tutorial homework.zz walao i feel so stupid can.
anyway,my leg muscles are aching terribly now.i guess it's because of PE and basketball training which made me run alot!hahahahaha.3 consecutive days of physical training every week lollllll.
yay tmr it's Friday!!!!!a step closer to the weekends. :D

today's the official start of the lectures and tutorials!
and it started off with me being late in the morning as my dad was fetching my brother to his new camp(the one just beside PJC) and so fetched me along as well and we met almost all the traffic lights turning red and caught in a jam and tadah,i'm late for school for the first time ever in my life.
but luckily the indian teacher who was at the gate was being very nice and let all the latecomers off since most of us were late for the first time.i promise myself that this will never ever happen to me again!!!!
LOL.

and shucks,i just realized i missed the new season of The Amazing Race which started at 8pm on Channel 5.ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
but on a brighter note,at least i've managed to finish my math tutorial. :D

as my blog title goes,i'll be staying at home today not to rot but to finish my tutorials,tuition homework and read my lecture notes.can't afford to slack anymore i guess,since many people have been telling me that life in JC1 is very very hectic and...miserable,in the sense that i won't be going out for shopping or whatever so often during the weekends anymore. ):

anyway,today is Total Defence Day!
i thought that a siren will be heard at 1pm and we have to tune in to the radio for some important announcements thing by the SAF but i don't hear any sirens at all.
lolllllllllllllllllllllll.

and on a side note,the orientation finale on Friday was a blast! :D everyone was simply having fun dancing to the music in the dark at the parade square and cheering and jumping and....
yay!

just got back home not long ago,after quite a long day at PJC and going to Bibi&Baba to get my uniform.can't really sleep now though i feel like i'm typing with my eyes half-closed cause i'm going out soon.

anyway,i went for the netball trials today and it sucked.not going to elaborate here but i'm definitely not going to join that CCA.
mass lectures are starting tmr,and i'm not looking forward to it at all.

first day @ PJC was rather okay,just that all the talks made me feel super sleepy(i slept at 1am last night and woke up at 5.30am this morning!) and my legs got super numb and i held my bladder for about 3hours.LOLLLL.
but the good thing is that the hall is air-conditioned!
hehehe.
we got to learn the school creed,school song and some cheers today and i must say that the tune of PJC's school song is really nice.their cheers are all quite cute and all the OGLs were getting 'high' themselves.
hahahahaha.
anyway,the orientation is lasting for 2 weeks!while i heard that some JCs are already starting lessons tmr already.SO FAST. -.-
sigh,i suddenly miss GESS and my fellow friends so much. :/

there was this time when my mum showed me a broken glass frame and i started getting paranoid that the glass pieces will cut me.okay sounds stupid but it's really like that.i guess it's probably because of the incident which happened to me when i was in Primary 2 when my right hand received a cut from broken glass pieces.i think most of my friends know that i spot an ugly and long scar above my right elbow.and also a 2cm scar above my right knee. ):
not going to go into details about what actually happened cause it's really stupid.
hahaha.

went to Sentosa and took the Skyride+Luge,followed by the 4DMagix thing which was damn lame. -.-
went around taking photographs everywhere
I GOT BLISTERS JUST BY WEARING THAT PAIR OF HAVAIANAS FLIP-FLOPS zz
had Ben&Jerry's
had dinner at Dian Xiao Er at VivoCity and we had 15% off!yay!
walked up a long flight of stairs just to reach Mt Faber
trekked the Henderson Waves and took a few photos there before my camera died on us
trekked the Jungle Walk and Angela screamed even when there's nothing scary
took cab to Zion Road for supper where we ordered quite alot of food to share
Timothy wasted half of the ice kachang
walked all the way back to Tiong
went to playground @ J.Membina and got quite dizzy after the "sit-and-turn" thing
took 195 home and dozed off for 5 mins

today's a day when i become a fillial daughter by staying at home and helping my mum with the household chores since our much loved Chinese New Year is coming in about a week time.

i finally packed my messy table and arranged the photos which are on my whiteboard nicely.now my table looks so neat that i can hardly believe that it was like a pig sty a few hours ago. x) not even a speck of dust now leh!

i know i'm kinda late about this but..
all i can say is that i got what i expected for my O levels.just a pity that i didn't manage to score A1 in Chinese despite retaking the subject again.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
so now if nothing goes wrong,i'll be choosing the Arts stream in Pioneer Junior College as my top choice.i don't care what people say about PJC being a lousy college because of their high cut-off points,because i know as long as i work hard,even being in the worst college in Singapore will still give me the chance of being one of the top scorers in A levels!

went back to school for the Year1 Ace Camp today together with Dina,and we spent most of our time crapping and laughing between ourselves lolllllllllllll.and every teacher we meet,they're like "Monday ah!" with a smirk on their faces.ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it's just 4 days left to doomsday. :/ zzzzzzzzzzzz.

hehehe.and i'm gonna change my phone soon too,if nothing goes wrong(like i piss my mom off and she changes her mind...).yay. (: speaking of my mom,she's turning another year older next Tues,and i've ordered a cake from TICG for her!so there's less chance that she'll get pissed off by me and don't allow me to change my phone.teehee.

first thing first,HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! =D it's 2009,finally.

i think the year 2008 has zipped past exceptionally faster than other years,maybe because of the numerous events which happened.like the Sichuan earthquake,terrorists attacks,China milk incident,economic crisis...and the list goes on.so may all these unfortunate events and all the bad things be gone with 2008 and may 2009 be a better year for everyone. (: not to forget,thank you to my family,friends and teachers for everything you've did for me in the year.i love all of you! :D

anyway,as i said,i spent New Year's eve yesterday(or should i say last year lol) at my aunt's place with my family and relatives.had a scrumptious Western+Chinese dinner whipped up by my aunt and her maid before we sat down to watch the countdown parties' live telecasts on TV and counting down to the new year together! :D:D

my cousin then sent my mom,sis and me (there were 7.5[0.5=toddler] people in total and all of us squeezed into a normal 5-seater car) to Changi Airport to take the train home but only to realize there were no more train service!!!!so we sorta left "stranded" at the airport with us having Ya Kun (our first 2009 breakfast LOL) with my cousins and aunt before my cousin sent us home.

lollllllllll reminds me of the time when i missed the flight at HK last year and got stranded at the airport.but this time was because WE MISSED THE MRT AND GOT STRANDED AT CHANGI AIRPORT isjfosjdgjsjg.

what an eventful first day of the New Year. :/

now i'm looking forward to my fav Chinese New Year which will arrive in about 25 days.

i actually wanted to watch Twilight today after going back to school to visit the band,but we ended up watching Bedtime Stories because of Mr Cheong Xun Hao.but okay lah,the movie was quite hilarious and the guinea pig is super cute.
i think i'm having a fetish for small and furry animals.BUT NOTHING CAN REPLACE CHIP&DALE IN MY HEART!!!!!alright lame.
oh anyway,Rain got herself a dog today.walao i want one also leh. )': sob sob.
anyway,the New Year is arriving in just a day time!and i'm gonna celebrate New Year's eve with none other than my most beloved family and relatives at my aunt's place. (: yay!

(: though we only managed to spend little time together but it was fun!

my muscles are aching right now as i went to the gym and played basketball at my sis's Home United basketball club training grounds yesterday.their training ground is situated in the building of the Ministry of Home Affairs,and you have to go through security checks before you can enter the building.and it's heavily guarded by the police!
lolllllllllllllllll.
and i can only go there on Saturdays as it's for leisure playing and i thought of bringing my friends over there to play since it's an indoor court and nowadays it kept raining but my sis said only family members of the team are allowed in there. :/ righttttt.
anyway,it was fun as there weren't any people there and the court was all to ourselves. :D

on a random note,working at TICG is fun cause my colleagues and boss are super-duper nice people and the customers who come are also very nice!hahahahaha.
and the ice cream at TICG is really really nice too,so must come and try when you people are free kkkkkkkkkkk.go when i'm working then can visit me as well. (: hehe.

anyway,yesterday's primary school gathering-cum-Yilin's birthday celebration was fun and nice! :D got to see many of my "long-lost" classmates,especially people like PEARL TAN who is still the same after 4 years with her happy-go-lucky character.HAHAHAHAHA.
we talked,crapped,laughed,attempts to push each other into the pool,played basketball,told ghost stories...everything we did sure brings back memories of those days when all of us were in the same clique and went everywhere together (even the toilet cubicle LOLLLLLLLLL)!

i just looked at the calender,and it's already 10 December 2008!about 2 weeks left to Christmas and about 20 days to a new year!
time flies,really.faster than anything you can think of.

anyway,it was a spring cleaning day today!my sis and i,together with a super-naggy mom,packed our storeroom and cleared the things which we didn't want anymore.my mom demands us to do it today cause she has been harping on the fact that
"那个recycle 的人明天要来 collect liao!" ("the 'recycle people' will be coming to collect the stuff tmr!" )
those 'recycle people' refers to those people who always deliver those yellow recycling plastic bags to your doorsteps and will collect it once per month.lollllllllllllll
yea and as i was packing,i found alot of letters given by many different people during my primary and secondary school days which made me reminisce and smile to myself as i read.hahahaha.

i've got myself another job!lollllll.
i'll be working at the Ice Cream Gallery @ Valley Point Shopping Centre,together with fjia! :D
just that the boss tries not to put us together as she's afraid we'll talk the time away.hahahaha.nevertheless,the boss's a very very nice lady!
yay.

anyway,i saw the news yesterday about a Singaporean woman being killed in the Mumbai terrorist attacks and i thought that those terrorists are seriously brainless,merciless and most importantly,heartless.it makes me wonder how humans can kill their own kind without thinking,without sparing a thought at all.
nevertheless,it makes me realize how unpredictable life is,that one can actually lose a loved one all of a sudden.
to me,such incidents have allowed me to learn to cherish the people around me,and not to take things,people for granted.annnnnddd it makes me wanna make a shout-out to everyone who knows me,that I LOVE YOU! =D
i guess,once in awhile,we need such constant reminders to remind ourselves how dear and important our loved ones are.

i've just came back from GESSBand Sec4s ROD in school,and i've got to say that this year's function was really cool.in a sense that,it is not held in any special rooms or whatever.instead,it was held at the arena,with a many tables joining together to form a mini stage,and a projector screen.
we even had "champagne" at the reception!
lollllllllllllll.
the function started with us having a scrumptious buffet dinner,followed by performances by the juniors,certificates+tokens presentation and finally,the 6th Annual GESSBand ROD video.
we were all still laughing and all at the silly videos of us doing stupid things until the last part,where the video showed the clip of the Sec4s during Rhapsody,the part when we were singing "Over the Rainbow".all of us suddenly became quiet and not laughing anymore,and Shobana and Shimin were actually sobbing away.

well,i guess all of us just missed the good old days since Sec1 when we dreaded going for band practices after school,pon-ing practices in Sec2,starting to get really interested in going for practices because of our fellow batch of people in Sec3,and lastly got so close together in Sec4.
i also miss the days when all of us would hang around in the band room after each practice,and playing around with the things in the room and making a fool out of ourselves.not to forget,all of us will always wait for one another to leave the room together.
4 years being together in the same CCA,getting scolded and laughing together,going through SYF,celebrating one another's birthdays together,going for our first overseas trip together,feeling the anxiety during competitions and concerts together...
i guess these are all the wonderful memories we'll keep with us forever. (:

and not to forget,my beloved section who unexpectedly got me such a big present and a heart-warming letter.i'll miss all of you!
okay,it's late and i've got tuition tommorow so i'm going to sleep!

it's such a not-everyday-can-happen thing that i woke up early today! (thanks to Amelia Chua lol)
i spent so much money for the past few days and i guess my first salary will all go to my mum.lolllllllllll.
anyway,i had my first tuition as a tutor yesterday! :D haha.the boy i'm teaching is quite cute,just that his Chinese...really needs alot of help.but nevertheless,everything went smoothly for the first time! :D
i'm currently looking for another job so that i can get more $$$,preferably some volunteer jobs where i can get abit of money while helping out?hahaha.

i didn't know i had this book.LOL.soooo yea,in a good condition! :D

besides all these,i have a thick ring file full of History notes and another one of Chemistry notes (from Mr B. Tan).
and also all the textbooks!so if you happen to lose or damage your current textbooks,fear not!let me know and i'll gladly give mine to you =D but just a thing to note,my textbooks are all not in good conditions...heh.

Grad Night 2008 / Class Chalet

two most memorable events of the year have just come to an end,so quickly.
oh well,good things will always come to an end. i think this is gonna be a long post,so if you're
4H girls in the hotel room! :feeling drowsy now,i guess it's better for you to read when you're more awake.lollllllllllllllllllll. alright,here we go! (:

~~Grad~~ PROM NIGHT 2008:
woke up earlier than usual to prepare my Prom stuff and to get my hair done at Khaiwoon's recommended salon.haha. together with Khaiwoon,Kaihwee and Xiuxiu,we got our hair done in about 1+ hour and Khaiwoon's dad drove us to the hotel as we need to check in early to have our make-up done.
-skips the making up in the hotel room part-
headed down to the ballroom and started taking photos with people.many people looked different with their prom outfits and make-up!hahaha.
soon,dinner was served while the emcee kept us entertained by playing games with a few people and the lucky draw.and towards the end of the night,Yichun and Carmel were crowned the title of Prom King and Queen respectively.lol.after Prom was another photo-taking session where we just went around taking photos with random people and vice-versa.it was really fun! :D
shall post some but not all photos here cause abit lazy lah.heh.

after that,the girls(me,khaiwoon,kaihwee,xiuxiu,angela,lydia,simin,tricia)went back to our hotel room and showered before going out for supper at Spize.upon reaching our hotel room after our supper,we crapped and laughed for awhile before going into our lala land.lol!

Class Chalet
i won't go into much details for this sooooooooo here goes.
the first thing we did after we put our belongings down in the chalet room was to head down to E!Hub and played at the arcade! :D lydia,khaiwoon,xiuxiu and i became a crazy bunch when we played at the Gogo Ball machine.lollllllll.and i managed to play the basketball machine thing!yay!
a few more girls arrived later and we went for a short ride on our bicycles before timothy,angela,xiuxiu,yuanzhen and i went to Changi Airport to send our class table-tennis girls off for their Shanghai trip.angela left after dinner at Popeye's while the 4 of us cabbed back to the chalet.
as soon as we reached,off we go for night cycling!we cycled all the way from Downtown East to Changi Village and it was really fun. (: reached back the chalet at about 5am and went to shower before we could allow our eyelids to close.

watched a little of the .REC movie when i wake up before going for breakfast-cum-lunch at Subway.after which we went to Escape Theme Park! :D and we had a really good time there,especially the Bumper Boats where we sprayed water at random passers-by and got ourselves wet as well.hahaha.
went back to the chalet room after that and caught the movie,The Eye,with me dozing off every now and then.lol.later which the BBQ started while some of us stayed in the chalet room watching some funny videos and HSM3 music videos on Youtube!lollll.i went home at about 10pm sadly as i thought that everything just happened too quickly.
hai.
i really really miss the times at the chalet and at Prom! ):
and to add on to my sadness,angela wong is flying off to Japan tmr and only coming back next year.ARGGGGGGGHHHHHHH.
i feel like crying.

it's been ages since the 4 of us went out together!i can still remember vividly the first movie we caught was in 2005 - Sky High,and the first neoprint we took was in Cathay Cineleisure.
lollllllll.
anyway,we caught The Coffin today which i thought it wasn't scary at all. -.- and the problem was that i don't quite understand the storyline!oh well,just didn't like it overall. :o
we went around looking for my heels,but sadly i couldn't find any which i like alot alot.
zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
headed to Vivo City afterwards,and yay we went to the arcade! :D and also i got to see all those puppies and dogs at Pet Safari!
I WANT A SCHNAUZER/TOY POODLE/GOLDEN RETRIEVER (but sadly cannot keep in HDB ): ) PUPPY!to all my friends,everyone share money to buy one for my next birthday kkkkk?go SPCA help me adopt one also can.i don't mind! :D:D:D since my mum forbids me to buy a dog,she can't do anything if you people give me as a present and no choice but to allow me to keep it!HAHAHAHAHA!
